Bryan Lambert is a certified addiction counselor with over 35 years experience in social services. He spent over 24 years with the Marin County Probation Department where he was a supervisor in the Adult and Juvenile Service Divisions where he managed both drug court and mental health programs. He spent 14 years as a Counselor working directly with troubled youth at Juvenile Hall. After his retirement, he became certified as drug & alcohol counselor and has worked for multiple treatment programs the last 10 years ranging from Helen Vine Detox Center, to his current position as a Counselor/Educator at the Marin County DUI Program.

Having experienced addiction from multiple aspects first as a child from an addicted home, to working with addicts in criminal justice for 24 years, to his own personal journey in recovery for the past 30 years, he understands fully the pain and suffering that addiction can cause to individuals and their families. He brings vast experience with 12 step recovery, harm reduction methodology, and family systems theory to his private practice and education presentations. He lives in West Marin with his wife Nancy, along with 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 6 horses.
